Hi, this was a misunderstanding of the vehicle’s automatic start-stop feature. We have inspected the vehicle and confirmed there is no mechanical issue. It’s also confirmed by Turo.
Like many newer vehicles, it is equipped with a system that automatically turns off the engine when the car is stopped, such as at a red light, and restarts it when you release the brake. This is a normal fuel-saving feature designed to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
