The car overall was an experience. First off I booked this last minute and I was cautious at first because of the previous reviews I read regarding issues and maintenance with the vehicle. The reviews were pretty accurate. So I made sure to message the host regarding things and I was assured the vehicle was fine and maintenance was fine. So First thing that I had an issue with was gas not being at full tank instead it was 1/8 and the host explained to me that it was brought back like that from previous renter and that I can bring it back 1/8. I informed him that I will not do that because that’s very unethical to not bring a car back full tank I told him I will fill it up but he insisted I bring it back 1/8 so instead I brought it back half tank. The 2nd thing was me paying $30 to get out of the garage. Now the host did explain to me that I would be paying to get out of the garage and I didn’t mind it but $30? That’s a lotttt. I recommend bringing the vehicle an hour before so that way Us renters can have an opportunity to pay for lesser parking fees because it is not going towards the host it is going towards the parking garage. I have rented from hosts plenty of times where they always brought the rental an hour before the reservation started so that way it helps save me money. I figured that’s how every host should and would be like but in this case it wasn’t like that and I felt like that $30 that I could’ve went towards the gas.

Then, as I started driving, a light came on the dashboard. Again I messaged the host I thought that this car was serviced and the host reassured that it was the same day. The host definitely offered me a refund if I wanted it and I explained to him I couldn’t take the refund because I needed a vehicle badly for a funeral to get to. Also to top it off... I couldn’t find the vehicle where it stated where it was because it wasn’t there. It was on the other side of the garage, not complaining about that necessarily, but I already wish I didn’t get sent off to the wrong location.


Now My overall car experience the car eventually did run smooth. They got me to my locations back-and-forth safely and sound. I had no other issues besides that light being on the dashboard. What I love most about the host he was. He was very communicative and very attentive and very welcoming and very hospitable. I personally would definitely recommend using his vehicle other than the light being on the dashboard which I’m sure he will take care of, the car really did run smooth, and it really was a very great vehicle, very clean very smooth and very much needed and worth it. Although my experience wasn’t a five star service and most people would’ve definitely gave for one and two star in my experience working in the hospitality, industry idea of people grace, and he definitely earned my respect earned my love and definitely earned my service again that is why I’m giving it four stars. Host were excellent!

Car pickup and drop off location is great. Had a problem with the car but the host was great and easy to communicate with.

The condition was great. The hosts were quick to answering any of my questions. Would rent from again.
