The host was great. Very good at communicating. The car was where it was supposed to be and easy to access. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the car was in rough shape. The brakes squeaked very loud the trunk didn’t always close. All four wheels were curved, and there were chunks of rubber taken out of the tires. Lastly, the windshield washer fluid jets did not hit the windshield instead it sent liquid flying up and over the car. It was a decent ride for the price.

The car felt unsafe. Both right side tires had visible sidewall damage from a prior rental. The front tires were different brands - something that the car’s manufacturer would not allow. There was something hanging from underneath the car. It had over 100k miles and did not steer correctly like a ball joint or control arm was excessively worn. Car cosmetics were below average.
Communication with owner was excellent but I was extremely disappointed in the car.
We prefer to leave inspections to certified mechanics. With that said, if Richard truly felt this way, he could have cancelled his trip and received a refund. Instead, he chose to keep the car for his entire trip. Not only that, he maxed out the miles for his trip. For this reason, he did not receive a discount. So here we are.
