The car itself is new and great, but unfortunately, our trip was an absolute disaster because it is electric.
It was extremely difficult to find charging stations, especially fast-charging stations. We booked the car for one day, and ended up wasting about 4 hours searching for a charging station and waiting for the car to charge.
The car was provided to us only half charged, which completely disrupted our plans and essentially ruined our day. The stress of worrying about running out of charge, finding a station, and being late returning the car made the experience extremely stressful and even made me sick.
On top of that, the charging process itself was extremely stressful and far from easy. You have to download a special app, create an account, and provide personal and banking information just to charge the car. And the worst part is that different charging stations use different apps, so you may need to download and register with multiple apps just to find a place to charge.
It was honestly a nightmare and completely impractical for a one-day rental. Instead of enjoying our trip, we spent hours dealing with charging, apps, registrations, and worrying about whether we would make it back on time.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend renting this car, especially if you are planning a short trip and need a convenient, stress-free experience.
