We booked this vehicle less than 12 hours before an unexpected trip to LA for a funeral after our original Turo host canceled last minute, so we appreciated the availability. However, the experience itself was disappointing.

Pickup was at an offsite budget parking lot rather than airport/garage delivery like we’ve consistently received from other LAX Turo hosts. The host educated us that , that is against Turo policy here.
The host mentioned a previous renter had smoked in the car — thankfully we didn’t notice smoke odor — but the vehicle was not presented clean. There were dirty fingerprints all over the sun visor mirrors and black residue on the rear seats that transferred onto my husband’s suit while we were on the way to the funeral. Host said it was a cleaning product.

Additionally, the brakes were squealing loudly enough that even the parking attendant commented on it, and the vehicle was provided with very limited fuel. None of these issues alone were catastrophic, but together they did not reflect the level of care or service I expect.

When concerns were raised, the response focused more on the value of the vehicle than the condition it was delivered in. A high-end vehicle should come with high-end presentation and maintenance I would know considering I book these high end vehicles because that’s what I drive as my personal vehicles.

Amazing host super clean car no issues at all. I would recommend this car to every person looking for a good car and a good host and a good price.

What a great host and a great car , i initially got a bronco but i'm assuming some thing went wrong with the bronco and immediately upgraded me to a Land Rover Defender. seamless, easy to communicate, clear instructions picked up and dropped off the car with absolutely zero issues. Thank you Sina .
