Car drove great. Gas had a half a tank and I returned it back with a little more than how I received it. Other than that, host responded promptly and I would definitely rent from her again

Overall, the vehicle was available on time, easy to drive, and the pickup process was fairly straightforward. The car was parked quite a distance from the gate, but I did not consider that a major issue.
Unfortunately, the windshield wipers were in need of replacement and did not clear the windshield properly. This made driving in the rain unsafe, and there were portions of my trip when I was unable to comfortably drive the vehicle because of it. I reached out to the host and received an apology and thank you for bringing it to their attention, but no resolution was offered. As a paying customer, I would have appreciated a more proactive response rather than having to suggest what could be done to resolve a safety-related issue.
I was also disappointed that the parking fee was not disclosed in the listing or the welcome message, particularly since I noticed other reviews mentioning the same concern. I have rented through Turo previously, and that host clearly disclosed the parking fee in their welcome message and even left funds in the vehicle to cover it. I don’t necessarily expect the fee to be covered, but I do believe it should be communicated in advance so guests aren’t surprised at pickup.
Aside from these concerns, the vehicle itself was on time and easy to drive. These issues, particularly the condition of the windshield wipers and lack of resolution, are why I am leaving a 4-star review.
