Great vehicle...smooth ride

This was our first time using Turo and probably the last. On the second day having the car the a/c went out. We notified our host on the 3rd day, we wanted to see if the problem would correct itself. It did not so we contacted the owner. He FaceTimed us to make sure we had all the proper buttons pushed, still the a/c did not work. He offered another rental car but we would have to drive to his house to get the car. I told him that wouldn’t work because we were an hour and 17 min away and that was just too far with no a/c and 2 children and the entire round trip would have taken us 2.5 hours. I did not feel like that was fair to ask us to do since we were paying for the vehicle. We then asked for a partial refund and the host said no.

We offered to swap the vehicle for this Guest and they declined. They waited almost two days to notify us that the AC is not working …as they are driving away from Richmond and don’t want to drive back to swap the car…🤷 Never reached back out until last day of trip…total hosers.
