Phenomenal car and host. Excellent customer service and exactly what I needed. I'll definitely rent again whenever I need a reliable rental.

This was by far my worst experience renting through Turo. The vehicle was in very poor condition and, most importantly, had serious brake issues. The brakes caused the entire car to shake when applied and ultimately failed to perform properly. I ended up with a scrape on the vehicle, and the host subsequently pursued a damage charge against me through Turo.
The car also had multiple existing scrapes and cosmetic damage, torn and unadjustable seats, and air conditioning that barely worked.
I am currently working with Turo to have these charges voided, and I sincerely hope they do right by their customer after considering the overall condition and safety issues with this vehicle.
My biggest concern is that a vehicle with these brake and maintenance issues was available for rent in the first place. Based on my experience, this vehicle presented a serious safety concern and should not have been on the Turo platform without first being properly inspected and repaired.

First of all, I urge you to be honest. You were involved in an accident with the car and tried to hide it when I asked, even though everything was clearly visible in the trip photos. The reason for your negative review is obvious. You know very well that the condition of the seat upholstery has absolutely no impact on the car's driving performance. We have the full safety inspection records on file from before the car was handed over to you.
