Communication with host was challenging. Prior to pickup I provided our flight information well ahead of time and we were delayed 30 min past when we were scheduled to arrive when there was nothing we could do about it. We were made to feel like that was our fault. On our return we notified the host that we would arrive 30 min early and their response was “you chose 11am”. While true we were only asking if there was any flexibility to meet earlier. We waited in the cell phone lot until it was time to drop off. The host did arrive 10 min early.
Separate from that the vehicle was exactly as described. It was clean and had no issues. We were appreciative of that. We returned it full with 91 octane as specifically requested.
SFO can be a challenging airport to begin with, but I’m not sure we would rent another Turo where we have to meet at a specific time at either the baggage claim curb or the departures curb.
