This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with Turo. Let me start off by saying the car was in OK condition. One thing you should really know is that you cannot connect to the car through Bluetooth whatsoever so you will have to use the radio or a aux cord if you have that available. As for my personal experience, it was terrible first I tried to reach out to start my pick up at a later time . I was told I can pick it up later at the time I requested, but I will still be charged as if I was picking up at my original time. I arrived to the pick up location and had no pick up instructions. I had to reach out to the host and get the pick up instructions which were to go to a specific location once I got to the location I was supposed to message the host back and get a code for the lockbox which the key was in. I waited a while and got no response. I then had to contact customer service for him to respond . I eventually got the key but my phone died immediately after. Once I got to my location and charged my phone I seen several messages from the host saying that he will reach out to customer service because I’m not responding. I assured him that I got the car and the key and there was no need to reach out to customer service because my phone died. He continued to hassle me and message me a lot more than I’ve ever experienced during a trip asking me questions like what time are you dropping off the vehicle when that is made clear when you’re booking the car. Overall, I just felt really uncomfortable and he did nothing to make it right. I highly don’t recommend you book with this person. He has horrible customer service skills and he told me he gave me a five star rating after returning his car, I later found out that he gave me a one star rating because I had booked another car with him. He canceled that booking for reasons listed as he gave me a low star rating and thought that I would do something to his car.

Our messages were standard check-ins sent to ensure the guest received the key, the trip was going smoothly, and the vehicle was returned on time. Unfortunately, many went unanswered. After the trip, we chose not to accept a future reservation based on our experience, which we believe influenced this review. We remain committed to providing professional service and well-maintained vehicles.

The car screen was inoperable but host was very accommodating.

Wonderful car. Dust off those cds or Make sure you have an aux cord though. Dash only works for radio. Terrific host, reliable vehicle. Will rent again!
