Host falsely submitted a refueling reimbursement claim even though I returned the vehicle with MORE fuel than it had at pickup. My pickup photo showed 368 miles of range remaining, while the return photo showed 445 miles remaining. Despite clear evidence, the host still attempted to charge me for fuel plus extra fees. Very disappointing experience and felt dishonest. I would not rent from this host again.
The vehicle's computer will dynamically calculate the remaining range based on "remaining fuel quantity" and "recent average fuel efficiency". Therefore, when the fuel efficiency improves, the displayed range value will naturally increase. When you return the vehicle, the dashboard shows that the gasoline is not full. We have the photos from the time of check-out for you, so we can charge you for the gasoline.
