Jason really came through for me last minute, as Dollar Car Rental did not have a car for me at my reservation time (0 stars for Dollar, do not recommend). I was able to pick up the car a little over an hour after booking. I met Jason at the vehicle and he gave me some tips and info about the Jeep. He checked in with me throughout the trip and afterwards. There was also a nail in the tire that either happened before or during my trip, and he took care of it and didn't put the blame on me. 5 stars for the host!
I would rate the Jeep itself 3 stars. It got me from point A to B, but it definitely needs some TLC. When I arrived at the Jeep, the host was jumping the car, which made me a little nervous. He did leave me with jumper cables and a battery jumper pack in case I needed it, which I thankfully did not! It started up fine every time, so maybe it had just been sitting parked for too long without being started. He mentioned he had an appointment with a mechanic, so hopefully the Jeep is being serviced soon. The transmission is terrible when first driving the vehicle after starting it - super clunky and slow to shift. Jason did let me know about this, so I wasn't surprised. The brakes may need to be replaced as well. I also got a notification that one of the backup lights was out. It doesn't get the greatest gas mileage, but it is a 2015 Jeep with over 200k miles, so it was as expected. They definitely don't make Jeeps like they used to....
Overall, I was happy with this rental experience! I believe Jason has over 10 other cars on Turo, so maybe I would rent another newer vehicle with less mileage next time. I am super thankful that this booking worked out on such short notice. Thanks again Jason - 5/5 stars for you as a host!

DO NOT PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK WITH THIS CAR! as you can see theres reviews since 2024 about this car having speed, transmission and knocking problems, this car is absolutely not safe to drive! dont let the host charm you saying that it is! my whole trip was unpleasant and stressful! steering wheel vibrates the whole car, tires swerving and could had caused a FATAL accident! the description about apple carplay was false, the host at first lie about it and then admitted that the car doesn’t actually have apple carplay! passenger seat was stuck and would not let me move, car had a terrible marijuana odor! , host at first took hours to respond, instructions were WAY wayyy way too long with unnecessary details and personal information! never again
