The car was filthy upon receipt. Trash strewn about, sticky candy in the cup holders, a filthy windshield, no washing fluid, and low tires, all which are detailed in photos. I followed the protocol to notify the owner and his response was less than helpful. He responded with “that’s unfortunate”. After I asked if he would be coming to fill the washing fluid reservoir and air the tires, he replied with, “I will not be.” The vehicle has exterior body damage that is extreme and interior upholstery damage, with multiple cigarette burns all over the interior. After verbalizing this to the owner, sending pictures and texting the number provided, there was still no resolve. The owner went so far as to pressure me into reviewing him with five stars by stating he would be giving me five stars and expected the same.
I refuse to give a positive review when my Turo experience was awful.
Ha ok thank you for the overdramatized review.
Next time don’t pick up that car early before my processor has a chance to clean it.
Also an automated message stating “I’ll be giving you a five star rating and a great review if you could do the same for me I’d greatly appreciated” is hardly being pressured. But hey, this is California the land of gentle snowflakes.
