Car was great and hosts were very responsive and friendly. Pickup was a bit of a pain; I wouldn’t really call it airport pickup (shuttle and then walk to parking lot to find it) but the shuttle was free.
Hi Jennifer! Thanks for your review. Yes, that is correct that it is not an airport pickup. Turo does not currently have a permit for SAN, and Turo vehicles are strictly prohibited from being delivered on site, subject to a $350+ fine. We find the free shuttle down the street from the car rental center to be a next best option. Once you arrive to the vehicle you’ll be on your way without any waiting or lines!
