The pick up location was very easy and the host was responsive. The air fresheners in the car were way too strong but I am someone who does not like air fresheners. As I headed out of town on my 12 hour drive I noticed the car would shake going over 70mph. I reached out to host who said the tires needed to be rotated but I would be fine. Against my better judgement I moved forward. I ended up with a flat tire in South LA at 7:30pm. The cords/wire were exposed on the tire. I was given an unsafe car to drive. Although the host was very nice and willing to refund me, Turo was horrible. I was stranded 3 hours from home, 9 hours from my destination and Turo would not help me. I ended up paying out of pocket for Lyft back to San Diego $325, lost a day of my trip and up until a week later, Turo is still trying to bill me for other charges.
