Do not work with this person. I rented from him several times while in San Diego. 2nd time he tried to stick me with a $140 toll fine since he didnt have a toll sticker on this car (he eventually paid the fine). I gave him the benefit of the doubt and to help him out. I rented from him two more times. Last time the tire went flat on hwy 5 and he is trying to get me to pay for the tire
Hi Matt:
In Turo, paying any toll related fee is required to the guest. You didn’t report the toll-road activity, put me in a passive situation. But I made full effort and you weren’t charged with extra fees. Actually the amount I paid to the highway is higher than what you paid to me.
In terms of the tire issue, I just wanted to seek benefits from Turo policy, it’s not my fault causing a new tire’s complete failure. You didn’t protect the tire properly. It’s also very common to file a claim
