I used the vehicle for 6 days. Some things to consider: The host was responsive- although the initial conversation upon pickup felt uncomfortable. Spoke with the host via phone call to locate the vehicle - vehicles in this area are always a challenge to find since there are so many Turos. During that call he expressed how “annoying” it is when people can’t find it. Nothing says welcome quite like that.. The
Apple CarPlay feature did not work during my trip; even after many attempts and googling troubleshooting options. The Bluetooth calling/audio connected, as well as my ability to use Siri, but if you’re used to the regular CarPlay display- this did not have it. It made navigating throughout San Diego pretty challenging as I had to use my phone for GPS navigation. If you’re unfamiliar with SD, it’s mainly highway driving so something to keep in mind. Personally that is the main feature I look for when booking so definitely not ideal. I expressed the concern to the host and was suggested to drive it to a jeep dealership
