Don't rent from him unprofessional and doesn't care if car doesn't work all he cares about is money. The car air stopped working the 2nd morning the breaks squeaked on and off the whole trip I messaged him about air and breaks he said oh the previous renter left 5star review so we didn't know there was a problem go to a mechanic and have them look at air really? My whole plans got ruined bc I had to rent a new car that had air bc it was 80+ and sunny I have 2 small kids they needed air next day I ended up taking to mechanic they said 50$ to inspect Barry didn't want to so we had to drive rest of trip with no air he said oh I'll refund you a day but still hasn't and whats 45$ going to do nothing wasted a whole day had to rent new car very annoying and frustrating he had smart comment about oh its only 71 out you should be fine.. ummm it was 80+ and sunny where we were then after trip completed he say oh there was a leak in air duhhhh I wasn't making it up horrible experience horrible service Horrible car advice to who ever rents document everything bc he's a con artist and I'm going to dispute charges with bank now bc I didn't document right away lesson learned he'll see this and respond with a bs excuse I have all the messages so he can say what he wants the car was horrible oh and he had like 20 air freshener in the trunk that smelled horrible
Unfortunately cars ac went out, while we keep our cars in excellent condition it was impossible to foresee this as the previous renters had no issue. We offered to refund the trip and also to swap/upgrade to any of our other cars. Customer was in Anaheim 2 hours away from our other cars and was not willing to switch. Although we’re tried every avenue available to help the customer was not willing to accept anything offered and instead just continued writing us rude messages for 2 days straight.
