We picked this car up and it was dirty with crackers on the floor and seat and had clear evidence it was not cleaned. This was further backed up by an auto message the host sends near the end of the trip that says “no need to clean before returning the vehicle”. We messaged the host and they immediately got defensive and mentioned how we should’ve seen how the car was given to them and they were denied claims by Turo for stains and excessive cleaning. Not a genuine apology but defending why the car was dirty. This is unsanitary and poor business practice. The hosts customer service skills are lacking to say the very least. If you prefer clean cars and a great host, this is not the car to book.

We are sorry to hear the vehicle did not meet your standards. Unfortunately your review forgot to mention the minor cleaning (aka “huge mess”) ordeal was “under the seat” and easily missed during busy seasons. Forgot to mention that you tried to belittle and bully your way into “free” fuel, since you read way too much into certain wording. We are disappointed that you were a previous host with similar incidents and yet you persists in petty reviews. Cheers.

Exceptional experience working with this Turo host!! We decided last minute to get another Turo and asked host if he had another car available. His prompt reply helped us get into the new car in <2 hrs!! Car was in great condition. Would use this host and no one else in SD after our experience!! 10/10!!
