The pickup location was unsafe for a late night pickup. The pickup location is in an industrial park with absolutely zero lighting for safety.
We had to have the vehicle towed after the engine had an issue where it refused to accelerate above 25-45 miles per hour. The vehicle had this issue the first day, and upon reaching out the host stated it was an engine temperature sensor that was limping the engine due to the heat and incline. We were able to drive around SLC, but upon trying to drive to about an hour and half away, we had the same issue where the vehicle failed to accelerate or maintain speed. We were over an hour from SLC and had to use my auto insurance to pay for the hour long towing back.
The host was responsive about the issues, but this was a huge safety issue.

I apologize. Pickup is in a small business complex 24/7 surveillance I always monitor pickups to assist through cameras I can immediately dispatch if needed very safe. Engine runs perfect, transmission is new in 2024 has a safety temp sensor where if the guest is speeding or climbing for a long period it will enter limp mode to cool down once cool will exit the mode a $600 flush a year is needed this year I tried a fluid change not as good never again just flushed it and will every year now on.
Great car, great rental experience would definitely rent again!
