Unfortunately, this vehicle was significantly different from what we expected based on its portrayal in the listing, and the condition of the car made our trip much less comfortable than it should have been.
The vehicle had multiple cracks in the windshield, the side tire/fender area was partially detached, and the rear upper tail/fender area was also partially detached. These were not minor cosmetic imperfections that we could simply overlook—they were very noticeable and contributed to the overall impression that the vehicle had not been properly maintained or presented in the condition we reasonably expected.
The biggest issue for us throughout the trip was the noise while driving. The vehicle was extremely loud, seemingly because of the loose/damaged exterior components and the overall condition of the vehicle. Virtually every time we drove it, there was significant rattling, flapping, or other road noise. It made even normal drives uncomfortable and made it difficult to enjoy the experience. We rented a vehicle so that we could comfortably get around during our trip, and while the car did ultimately get us from place to place, the driving experience was far from comfortable.
To be fair, the vehicle was functional enough to get us where we needed to go, and the host’s communication and return instructions were straightforward. However, simply being able to get from point A to point B doesn’t outweigh the condition of the vehicle or how uncomfortable it was to drive.
I also want to mention that the host specifically asked for a 5-star review across the board and mentioned receiving a discount on a future trip in connection with their request for a 5-star review. I understand that reviews are important to hosts, but I believe reviews should accurately reflect the guest’s actual experience. I am leaving this review based on the condition of the vehicle and our experience driving it, rather than the host’s request for a particular rating.
Overall, I would not describe this as a comfortable or well-maintained rental experience, and I would not rent this particular vehicle again in its current condition.

I’m sorry you had such a poor experience with the vehicle. The only message I received from you was BEFORE you picked up the vehicle, then there was no further communication on your end. I REALLY wish you would have said something so we could’ve worked on an amicable solution for you.
We have never received any complaints on this vehicle and after driving it myself, I find the vehicle to be functioning normally for a 10 year old vehicle with unlimited miles on a drive-share platform.
Clean and well maintained with no problem. Will surely book again. Thank you.
