The vehicle was in unacceptable condition. It had a strong musty odor throughout the vehicle, and it appeared that the owner attempted to mask the smell with an overpowering window air freshener that had an unpleasant odor of its own. Several parts of the interior were torn and in poor condition, and there were visible stains and dirty spots on the ceiling. Crumbs, debris, and other signs of poor cleanliness were present throughout the vehicle. Overall, the condition of the vehicle made me feel uncomfortable and unhygienic during the entire trip. The vehicle did not meet reasonable expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, or passenger comfort.
I apologize for any inconvenience regarding the vehicle’s cleanliness. The car was returned by the previous guest only about an hour before your trip began, which left us with very limited time to prepare it for your reservation.
As a Turo vehicle, this is a personally owned family car that is shared between guests rather than a brand-new fleet vehicle from a traditional rental company. While we do our best to thoroughly clean and inspect the vehicle between every trip,

I’ve had such a great experience renting with this owner. He had it dropped off and picked up at the location I had put. Car was in great condition, clean and was perfect for the family. The oil light came on and he took care of it immediately. I would highly recommend this host & vehicle! Thanks again
