Our house was absolutely amazing and very understanding we had an amazing trip. It was our first trip as a full family, and it helped that he was very communicative. I definitely recommend renting from him and I will rent from him again in the future.

The host was very respectful and communicative, but there were a few disappointments. When we picked up the car, it smelled intensely of cigarettes and over the 4 days we had the car, we couldn’t get the smell out. So much that it caused an asthmatic reaction from one member of our group and we felt uncomfortable putting our 2-year-old daughter in the car. We had requested a car seat for our daughter noting that she was a toddler, and received an expired booster seat for a much older child instead, forcing us to buy a new car seat in town and check it with the airline on our way back home.

The car should not be rented out to anyone. It has break issues and rear-end issues as well as damage. The primary reason we rented this vehicle was for transportation to and from the airport and the rear door where we need to put luggage is broken and has to be manually forced open which takes a significant amount of effort to do. The car is also not clean inside or out and has damage inside as well as outside. The only reason I am not giving 1 star is the host was very good and communicated well. He even met us at departures and saved us time of parking. When I picked the vehicle up I had to pay the parking tab which was almost $9 but I only received $5 back from turo for it. Requiring premium fuel when refilling is also something that was very annoying when the vehicle clearly isn’t well taken care of in the first place. Over all I would not use turo again because it seems to be a bad value for the vehicle we received.
