The car was not available for my use until 26 hours after the start of my reservation. Initially, that was OK as I had to reschedule my flight and I couldn’t use the car anyways.
What was unacceptable was that my driver ignored all communication after I received the vehicle, and I was forced to pay $110 for the 2 hours extra I needed the vehicle, which I will be seeking a refund for immediately.
The bad:
-The car arrived dirty
-The car reeks of cigarrettes
-The wear and tear on the car is significant and worse than shown in the listing. While I am speaking to the cosmetics here, it is disappointing.
The ugly:
-The CarPlay/Bluetooth doesn’t work. I have tried both the cable provided and my own. Further, the Bluetooth is locked and I cannot add another device, rendering it unusable.
The inexcuseable:
-The rear driver’s side seatbelt is worn through and unusable. I have worked in the vehicle test industry for many years and the seatbelt is unsafe for use.
I rented this car because it was listed as a 5-seater hybrid SUV with bluetooth/CarPlay. This car is two of those things. I am very disappointed with my trip and I am unlikely to ever use Turo again, and I certainly will not be renting a car from Bluefin.
