I want to stay respectful especially to the company that pays me regularly. But this is not the first time Turo has done this on my public profile. This is posted by a Turo Agent who has metrics that govern their decision making the same way hosts like me have metrics. The problem is those metrics are completely misaligned and create a literal dichotomy. Put simply, this version of events describing a trip that was cancelled is blatantly false. It's a flat out lie and not a good look for Turo.

Good reliable car for long drives
At least the car was reliable. Unlike you who assured me I should expect a glowing review and please will I drive you for free to "the bus stop" . My naive hospitality got me to drive you in my personal car 5 miles away to a store of your choice in the Delmar Loop. In future, don't lie to your host that you intend on leaving a positive review - have the nerve to ask for a free ride to "the bus stop" . When your only intention was to drive you to a specific store of your choice in the Loop. SMH.

The car quality was excellent, it drove really smooth and it was clean and polished. The pickup location was great also, just a short trip from the airport. And the host Joel was amazing!! He went above and beyond what I expected and made sure everything I needed was taken care of, even providing some additional items to help in my trip. Also, he checked up from time to time to make sure I was doing ok with the car. When I come back to St. Louis, I’ll make sure to contact Joel again!
