This was my first time using Turo, and unfortunately, I had a stressful experience. I was traveling with my 10-month-old baby from Nevada to California. My pickup time was set for 1:30 PM, but before my arrival, I reached out to the owner asking for pickup details. He didn’t respond to messages or calls, leaving me panicked as I juggled my baby, car seat, and luggage. After about 30 minutes, he finally responded, telling me the car was in a garage. When I found it, the car was dirty—crumbs and dirt inside—and it hadn’t been washed. I also had to pay $42 for parking, though he did refund that later. Overall, the lack of communication and the condition of the car made it a disappointing experience.

Car was good. Host communication regarding condition of car (windshield was cracked in two places - not a safety issue but not known ahead of time) could have been better.
