Car was perfect for my needs. Host was exceptionally accommodating on a last-minute request to change the pick up location. Drop off was a breeze. Car was in excellent working order and clean. I will definitely rent again from this host went back in the area.

I had a horrible experience with the vehicle going back home to see family 13 hours away! Once we get to where we were staying and unloading the car of our belongings, the door handle completely comes out the driver door and was only hanging on to a cord but door handle had black tape on it, as well as the driver seat. There weren’t any issues until we got to Virginia with the door. The response from the host honestly had me in awe. When I informed him he let me know basically this same thing happened with the previous renter which I felt was very inconsiderate when I let it be known I was traveling and not once was it mentioned just for hypothetical purposes. I purchased the standard protection plan 16 and some change a day, $177 and some change for the total amount of days we rented the vehicle and yet still had to pay $150 just to get this vehicle towed to a tire shop nearby because the tire randomly popped.. The car had absolutely no spare, nor a jack or a lug nut to change the tire that busted due to the tire pressure from what was told to us from the man who came to change our tire. Mind you the vehicle never not once notified us about the tire pressure not once until the tire randomly blew on the interstate. I contact Turo roadside assistance and they send help to change my tire. Once the man gets to us and checks again to see if he can find a spare he let us know there isn’t one and we have to get towed because it was so bad that it couldn’t even be replaced. NOT TO MENTION my fiancee and I were outside in the heat from 12 PM to 3/4 PM. Then on top of it all, we had to buy a whole new tire for a car that DOES NOT belong to me. I’ve never not once had a bad trip, nor experienced neither bad customer service with a host/ bad response time or even terrible customer service dealing with Turo representatives. Not to mention, we seen some of the supplies to repair the door handle in the car and didn’t even consider nor have any empathy towards the fact the car was about to be rented out, ON TOP of that; I even mentioned to him I was going on vacation back home and still was not considered, not even a tid bit.. Tire busted, no spare tire, their information as my host was not provided to me after I reserved the vehicle as all the other host would do for you to contact them or anything else you’d need just in case of an emergency. It’s like he knew this car had all of these problems but not once considered their guest. Everything about this trip was terrible when it comes to this car and being helpful and/or understanding about the vehicle knowing all the complications that came with it.
