It was good over all a great experience. Host was very helpful and communicative yet was able to let us pick up early . My family loved how spacious it was !

Great car, I had no issues at all and it has great gas mileage

Overall, my experience with this car was alright. I’ll start by saying the host was communicative most of the time. The car dripped oil though (it’s a 2009 so that’s not too surprising) and I got a quick message at first but then after expressing concern about my Airbnb host getting upset I got silence. Otherwise, he was good to respond to any needs.

The car itself was pretty dinged up outside (again, a 2009 so not too surprising) and had some pretty big dents and scratches around the outside. I needed it just to get around so it wasn’t a big problem, but it’s definitely in pretty rough shape externally. The oil dripping wasn’t fun either because once I realized I didn’t want to park in peoples driveways. The interior seats were pretty stained, but otherwise the inside was good enough for my needs.

In the end it was the cheapest option and got us from A to B well enough. I would have liked to have been warned about the dripping oil so I was at least aware upfront (host said it likely was construction along the roads but I didn’t drive through any major construction zone with loose gravel that I can recall… I could be wrong but don’t think I am). Hopefully my experience was a one-off. I’d give the host and car another chance if the opportunity arises.

Andres's response

Thank you for your feedback. If you had taken the time to look at the listing photos, you would have seen the condition of the vehicle—that’s why it was only $20/day. It’s mathematically impossible to offer the cheapest 8-seater in the state and expect it to have zero scratches. The oil leak was caused by you running over a rock in Moab, puncturing the oil pan. Unfortunately, you waited until just 2 hours before the trip ended to notify me, making it impossible to repair during your trip.

Communicated great. Car was in perfect condition and worked perfectly.
