I booked this vehicle from Thursday May 14, 2026 9:00am until Sunday May 17, 2026 10:30pm for my niece graduation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I picked this car up at my scheduled time and started my vacation. I arrived in Louisiana at approximately 8:45pm. I unloaded my belongings and proceeded to get me, kids, and the rest of the family a bite to eat and that’s when all hell broke loose. All kind of ignition lights started appearing and malfunctioning in this vehicle started happening. At approximately 10:30pm the car shut off and wouldn’t start back up. I called my own roadside assistance triple aaa to come and boost the vehicle because it kept saying battery low. Once triple aaa arrived at the location and jump started the car it wouldn’t shift into any gear and started saying reducing features to save battery and shut the engine off again. I contacted the host which it wasn’t much he could do because I was over 500 miles away. This was a very devastating and stressful trip

Overall, the car was nice. I travel a lot for work and try to communicate effectively as much as I can. Upon arrival of the vehicle, there was an issue with the vehicle and I was very understanding and even altered my day (that consists of ALOT of work) to go above and beyond and go to the tire shop. I also had to ride around with a tire in the back the entire time. I felt under valued as a customer and upon return of the vehicle, with last minute flight changes out of my control, I returned early and felt as if I was scolded for that. I try to be very professional and understanding and communicative. I did apologize that I did not immediately text when my flight changed but I had like 4 hours to get to the airport and I was staying over and hour away. I felt like I was not shown any grace. The car was great overall but I am big on giving grace when needed and felt as if i was talked to like a child. I want to give a five stars for the car but because of my experience with communication, I give it a 3.
