Turo itself was straightforward. The 2026 Model Y was excellent, and Full Self-Driving was the standout of the trip. Smooth, confident, and the reason I’d book a Tesla again.
What kept this from 5 stars: getting FSD onto the rental was a slog, and I was charged a full monthly FSD subscription for a 3-day trip. FSD should be a listed extra at a trip rate, not a month of Tesla’s bill passed through to a short stay.

The host has two very similar cars with almost identical license plate numbers, so I recommend double-checking the plate carefully at pickup to make sure you have the correct vehicle. There was a mix-up with the cars during my rental, but communication with the host was good and we were able to resolve the issue smoothly.
When I booked the car, I had seen previous reviews mentioning that FSD worked well, but I believe those renters may have been using a free trial at the time. The car did not have FSD available during my rental.
Overall, the host was very kind and helpful, and I had a positive experience.
