That should tell the story…
The car should have never been rented to anyone. The experience was the absolute worst I have ever encountered!
The car stalled out on the highway trying to exit and wouldn’t pick up any speed. The car ultimately wouldn’t drive in reverse. I was stuck in the middle of the street and in the parking lot of a garage both for over 45 minutes! Obviously the transmission was not checked before handing me the key.
I spent four days trying to get the car towed through Turo roadside service. Repeating the issues from start to finish every call started as if I never reported I was in a vehicle that was dangerous to me and my families safety as well as other drivers!
There was very little follow up through Turo. One or two representatives reached out over a four day period! If I didn’t call back, I wouldn’t know that the recovery of the vehicle still hadn’t taken place by Thursday, report started Monday!
The entire experience was anything but safe! I had to get my family to a hotel and back safely.
Very traumatic and horrific to say the least!!
There was no urgency from anyone that I encountered! Unbelievable that this foolishness is still going on in 2026!! Everything about the service is unacceptable!!
I’d never again rent from this service and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either! Disgusting!! I am most definitely requesting a full refund!!
