Great experience overall! The car was clean, comfortable, and drove perfectly throughout the trip. Everything was exactly as described, and the pickup and return process was smooth and easy. The host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend!

1. Host: At pick up time, the vehicle WAS NOT AT THE AGREED LOCATION as indicated in the reservation confirmation. Followed by unhelpful communication with host (the host was not there either). I had to leave after 30 minutes of vehicle not found. 40 minutes later the host texted me saying that he found the VEHICLE parked in a DIFFERENT SPOT that he wasn’t aware of himself.
2. Only because it was hard to find a different rental on a Sunday, I agreed to continue with this rental. I went to the vehicle later in the day.
COULDN’T GET IN THE VEHICLE. It was not unlocked as the host said. Again, took a while communicating with the host. He finally showed up with the key. The whole pick up process wasted another half hour.
The host refunded me $45 out of the $199 for one day rental I paid to Turo for all the time lost.
3. Quality of the vehicle: 16 miles/ gallon
Below expected standard fuel efficiency for even an old Honda CRV. I had to refuel 7 gallons for the 117 miles driven. This is not to be expected for a Honda CRV. The host should've disclosed this in his Turo posting. The Turo representative couldn’t do anything about this even after I uploaded pictures of the dashboard showing the over-consumption.
Old vehicle conditions exist in this one:
The trunk needs to be closed with extra force to be securely shut.
Scratchy noise under the vehicle at start.
