the car itself was clean, in good condition, and drove well. however, we were disappointed that it was due for an oil change during our rental, and we were also informed that the windshield wipers were broken. the owner left replacement wipers in the trunk and suggested we install them ourselves if we encountered a monsoon. while we appreciated the communication, we don’t feel vehicle maintenance should fall on the renter. overall, it was a decent experience, but these maintenance issues kept it from being a higher-rated rental.

Lexus vehicles "maintenance" alert comes on every 3k miles. That vehicles oil change was done less than a month ago. As discussed, you booked last minute after the car had just been returned from a guest who had let us know about the wipers. Nobody was around to install the wipers at such short notice.

I really enjoyed this car and had a great experience overall. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and drove great throughout my trip. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire rental process was smooth and easy from start to finish. I would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend the TURO experience
