Everything was great as far as the process/ logistics/ communication. Only thing that didn't make sense was the car came with on 40miles of gas in it. I have always known rental cars to have a full tank at pick up, then you fill it up upon return. I was driving on the highway before I noticed I was running out of gas at 5 miles. I filled the tank up and returned it at 155miles of gas. How is that fair if I picked up the car at 40miles? So I basically gave them free gas.
My advice to the owner is, fill the gas tank to make it convenient for ur customers.

Thanks for your feedback. Per Turo’s policy, hosts aren’t required to provide a full tank unless stated in the listing. The Tiguan was provided with about a quarter tank, and when you asked before your trip, I confirmed you only needed to return it at the same level. This is the first time I’ve received a concern about the fuel level. Thanks for your suggestion, and we appreciate your business.
