I can confidently say this was the best Turo experience I’ve ever had.
I rented Zach’s 2023 Tesla Model Y for 6 weeks and drove over 2,000 miles along the West Coast, and the entire experience was absolutely flawless.
The car itself was fantastic. The Full Self-Driving feature was the main reason I booked it, and it performed incredibly well throughout the trip. Over 2,000+ miles, the car had zero issues, drove beautifully, and clearly had been exceptionally well maintained. The tires, windshield wipers, software updates, overall cleanliness, and attention to detail all made for an amazing experience. The car was delivered freshly detailed and looked fantastic.
What truly made this rental exceptional, though, was Zach.
My transportation plans changed last minute before pickup, and Zach was incredibly responsive, flexible, understanding, and helpful in helping me coordinate everything smoothly. Drop-off was equally effortless, with a super convenient airport short-term parking return that made the end of the trip stress-free.
The moment that really sealed it for me: at one point, I accidentally locked my phone in the frunk and completely locked myself out of the car. Since my phone was my key, I was stranded. I logged into Turo from a computer, messaged Zach, and he had the car remotely unlocked for me within 5 minutes. Absolute lifesaver.
Spending 6 weeks with this car honestly left me bonded with it and wanting to rush home and buy a Tesla with FSD of my own.
Zach is, without question, the most professional, responsive, and helpful Turo host I’ve ever worked with. He made what could have been a complicated long-term rental feel effortless from start to finish.
10/10. I would rent from him again in a heartbeat.
