The car itself was fine overall, but the pickup experience was quite chaotic and there are some important details future renters should know.
First, the car was delivered very dirty, especially the windshield, and the battery was almost empty when I received it, so I had to charge it immediately.
The biggest issue was the airport pickup process. The listing makes it sound like the car is at San Francisco International Airport, but initially we were instructed to go to a very distant parking location that would have cost around $40 by Uber. Then the pickup location changed and the car was left in an area where stopping was difficult and people were honking at us while we tried to figure everything out. There were also some inconsistencies in the communicated amounts and instructions, so overall the retrieval process was stressful and confusing.
Also important to know: the car is permanently locked in Chill Mode and capped at 85 mph, and those restrictions are not clearly disclosed. If you are renting a Tesla expecting the normal acceleration experience or more flexibility on highways, you may be disappointed.
Overall, the car worked, but the pickup process and lack of transparency around the vehicle restrictions made the experience much harder than expected.

Nice, fun, and clean car. I appreciate being able to get the Tesla App access because it makes using the car a lot more convenient and easier overall. Airport pick up and drop off was convenient too. Would rent again whenever we are in the area
