The vehicle drove well and the overall performance was good. However, I was disappointed by the condition of the car, especially considering it is advertised as a luxury sedan.
After beginning my trip, I noticed that much of the interior showed significant wear and damage. Several interior plastic trim pieces were broken or missing, the carpet was damaged, there was visible damage to the seat and seatbelt area, and one of the interior door panels was severely damaged. The overall condition of the interior did not meet the expectations I would have for a luxury vehicle.
There were also recurring issues with the key. At times, the vehicle did not recognize the key, making it difficult to start or unlock the car. In addition, multiple warning messages appeared during the rental, including notifications for low washer fluid and messages indicating that the car needed servicing regarding the start/stop feature and the Volvo on Call.
My biggest concern was safety. The passenger-side front tire showed noticeable signs of dry rot and was in the worst condition of the four tires. I did not notice it during pickup because the tires are mismatched, and the driver’s-side front tire actually appeared to be in the best condition. While the car handled well during my trip, the condition of that tire is something I believe future renters should be aware of.
Overall, the vehicle was mechanically capable and rode well during my rental, but the poor interior condition, recurring key issues, dashboard warnings, dirty inside full of dog hair and apparent tire safety concern would make me hesitant to rent it again.
Thank you for your comment I will take it into account, in the same way I want to inform you that the vehicle corresponds totally to your category, it has no safety or driving inconvenience, what you point out are the wear of use, the Volvo on call system is a service of the brand is not something that affects the operation of the vehicle. The car has both front and rear carpets.
