The car had a lot of cosmetic damage. Scratched on every side of the vehicle, every rim was scratched, dents on the driver side door and it smelled like someone had been smoking inside the car recently. I paid more than normal for this rental because I’ve been considering purchasing a Levante and got a less than luxury experience. The car ran fine, but had service warnings flashing throughout the trip. I spent a good part of my vacation worried the owner of the vehicle was going to try and hold me liable for damage that was not shown in the images in the ad. I tried to file a report with Turo, but the company directed me to a landing page with a 404 error so this is the best I can do to provide feedback. I don’t want to put this owner on blast publicly, but I also don’t want to get a bill for a damaged Maserati or have some other renter feel as uncomfortable as I did while on a trip for leisure. I will not rent this vehicle again, and have taken it off my list of considerations when I buy my next car.
