I suggest to stay away from this host. I booked the car and when I start driving it - it started to make horrible loud noise and shake. I contacted the host and told him I am not feeling safe driving it, as there's something wrong with it, noises car was making so loud, I couldn't even hear the music or person next to me. The host pretended know nothing about it, and it was all fine, and "no one had problems with it", despite many bad reviews of same sort of issues. Next thing I know he actually puts claim with Turo on me, saying there's damage been done by me.
Is it's still ongoing, I am shocked at host's attempts to frame me for his car's issues and attempting insurance fraud before my very eyes.
Hope this resolves quickly and Turo takes these kind of hosts of their platform.

The renter reported an issue, and we followed Turo’s process by documenting it and opening a claim for Turo to investigate. A claim does not mean the renter is being blamed—it is simply part of the process. Unfortunately, the renter’s misunderstanding of this process resulted in an unnecessarily unpleasant situation.
The car I received ran horrible. I felt unsafe driving. When I brought attention to the matter, the host told me it was fine.
Now they are trying to charge me $35 to refill fuel that I filled with photo evidence.
