This was a replacement vehicle for the first one I rented, the first car was a 2021 Chevy Malibu that sounded like the transmission was about to fall out and had multiple mechanical issues. When I requested a replacement vehicle, I told them I did not feel safe driving the Malibu in that condition and didn't want to be responsible for a failure if things escalated. 24/7 auto rents then told me they couldnt send their staff as far away as I was to exchange vehicles. They ended up sending someone after quite a bit of back and forth to pick up the Malibu and drop off a newer blazer. The Blazer smelled like someone had been chain smoking in it for years and I could grab the center console and shake it back and forth. It was not secured at all. It was nice they brought me a replacement vehicle but the quality of the vehicles was garbage. I ended up finally having to tell them I was not going to be driving that vehicle in that condition and they would have to come get it one way or another in order for them to bring me a replacement. For the money they charge for rentals it was not worth the hassle in my opinion.

The car was a little on the dirty side when I got it but it wasn’t the worst one I’ve seen. I cleaned it thoroughly for the next renter since my standards are much higher than hosts, or hosts cleaning crew. But besides that it was a great car it still has that new car feel and Chevrolet is the best American car there is. The host was reliable, honest, caring and just an all around good guy. We as guests need to match that and be respectful not just to the hosts but to each other also. (Clean up after yourselves) who cares if it say you don’t need to clean before drop off. Do it anyways nobody should clean up your mess, it’s gross. Thank you
