Car has maintenance issues a tire popped while driving with my wife in the vehicle and when i informed the host he suggested there was something i did to the vehicle when there was signs of wear on the tire and i only had the vehicle for one day.

Vehicle has 0 maintenance issues, and all 4 tires were replaced in January. Normal wear of several months. The tire damage he showed me and I saw after he drop off seems like he had impact from a curb, pothole, or object, as the tire has multiple holes. I simply asked what happened, never gave him an attitude. I received no response. I even offered to help cover a used replacement tire so the trip could continue. Guess he just didn’t want to take responsibility.
