Car had a bit of dog hair and needed a little wipe down but overall the host was flexible. I booked this car reservation The night before my daughter’s birthday and just wanted something fun to drive her to her birthday dinner. My reservation was cancelled and I wasn’t refunded because I forgot to submit my drivers license in time. I had no idea that I would lose money and that there was a deadline if I didn’t submit my license by a certain time. I got a text and email at 4am the morning before I picked up, but like most people I was asleep and missed it. Lost the money, which is stupid but whatever. Rebooked the car. Paid again. And had an easy time picking up and dropping off. My daughter loved the surprise so that’s all that matters. It is irritating though that these days it seems like you need to be exxxxtra careful reading the time print to not lose money on a reservation for a little missed detail.

I apologize for the car not being up to your standards. I have no control over Turos guidelines about uploading your license within a certain amount of time. The host is not responsible to remind you, but try to remind the person as soon as I can. I give the renter the time allowed to book. I would have not charged you if it was my choice. I’m glad you could enjoy the birthday with your daughter
