This was an absolutely terrible interaction. I always leave good reviews, but this one was undeniably the worse. I booked this vehicle to attend a funeral in Lagrange, Ga. I will admit that I booked for 7am not realizing the time difference. My bad. I reached out to the company to request that I change the time to 6am so that I could make it for the line up at 9:45 eastern. At first the request was met with, “no one will be up at 6am to give you the code”. What? Then I was told to go ahead and put the change request in and at 6am the code was sent. Go in the vehicle, I’m 6’4” 290, the switch to adjust the seat didn’t work but I was in a hurry so I went on. After the funeral, I reached out to let them know about the seat and was told that they had had the issue and it seemed to fix itself. Try wiggling the switch, didn’t work. I didn’t make a fuss, I just dealt with the discomfort. While there, I receive a notice that would need to take care of some things early, so if have to be at work early. I sent a message to the rental company at 5:47am because by the time I got to my work vehicle, it would be around 8:45 central. Once I arrived, the change to have the vehicle picked up from my home request still had not been responded to. So, I parked the car in my driveway, 16 miles away from the original pickup spot and went to work. After leaving I received a message back stating that the request was denied. I informed the rental company that I was already at work. I received a message that that I could extend the rental to which I replied that I was not going to pay extra because of poor communication on their part. I am now in an uber going to get the vehicle from my home to take it the original drop off point. I was told that I would be paying for my lack of planning. That’s laughable. I communicated at every turn. Yet they rent early mornings without any customer service. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. Just aweful.
Guest became aggressive, angry and acusatory when he was informed that we would not be willing or able to accommodate a last minute change and arrange a pickup from his residence.
