The host and the car was great.
The car is clean, pick up and return was easy

Car is fine a little bit older so a bit of a smell but for the price was worth it. The main issue was the AC didn’t get super cold for the hot Florida summer.

Within 5 minutes of leaving the airport (mid afternoon), the car was chugging and the check engine light came on. We were instructed to drive to our destination which was 20 minutes away. While communication was great in the beginning, it dwindled throughout the day. They finally arrived in the middle of the night to get the vehicle and we are still awaiting a full refund. They told us to leave the keys in the cup holder, which we didn’t do because the car was in our possession still and we didn’t want it to get stolen on our watch. Because of this issue- we weren’t able to enjoy our first evening at PCB, unable to pick up our groceries we ordered, and had to pay $40 for an uber to a car rental place to get a new vehicle. Turo wasn’t able to find us a replacement car, in which they told us they would, so we ended up going with Budget car rental.

You said you felt safe to drive to your location, I explored alternatives on my end; I asked about swapping out the car with another vehicle in my fleet. Unexpected issues can occur, but I take them seriously and will ensure the vehicle is fully checked.
