Most everything was fine and as advertised with the vehicle. The two critiques are that the check engine light came on just as my rental began. The owner was very responsive and told me not to worry, but also shared potential issues with a tricky ignition, which I also experienced during the rental.
Thankfully, I drive a Hyundai of the same generation and was familiar with the limits of the vehicle enough to continue my rental. It did not, however, abate my anxiety that I could potentially still be liable for the mechanical issues.
In addition, I was not aware that I had to pay the long term parking fee to exit the airport. My apologies if I missed that in the fine print, but it would have been helpful to be aware of that additional cost upfront.
Beyond those issues, I was very appreciative of the availability and ease of securing the vehicle. Thank you!
