The host was responsive throughout the rental. This was my second time renting from this location, and unfortunately, both rentals involved maintenance issues.
During this trip, the low coolant warning light came on. I notified the host, who asked if it was the first time the warning had appeared during my five-day rental, and it was. However, once it started, the warning continued to come on for the remainder of the trip.
Traveling in 100-degree weather with a recurring coolant warning was concerning because I wasn't confident the vehicle would safely make it back. I hope the coolant issue is inspected and repaired before the vehicle is rented again so future guests don't have the same experience.
