We had a great experience renting with Kandy. Pick up / drop off was very convenient, the car was in excellent condition, and we would happily rent again.

Unfortunately this is my first negative review on Turo. We have rented many Tesla's on Turo and have always had a positive experience until now.
We paid nearly $1,000 for 4 days and yet we were told that we could not change any of the settings on the car for our use.
The host sent me no messages until minutes before we were supposed to pick up the vehicle, and this was after me sending multiple messages which Turo shows that she had read.
Upon check-in, the host was not going to allow me to have app access to the car in order to pre-cool the vehicle or check / change charging, etc.
After approving my wife as an allowed driver in the Turo app, the host then said that my wife couldn't have access to the car via the app.
The car was locked in “Chill” mode, which is essentially limp mode.
All of the tires were low by 7 to 8 psi.
While parked taking pictures, the host kept remotely messing with the car and doing things like repeatedly opening the charge port door. This caused my wife to feel unsafe as to what they might do while we’re driving it.
When I messaged the host and asked them to please stop messing with the car while we were driving it, they ignored our concern and just scolded us for charging the car to 84%.
The car was delivered to us with 85% charge, yet the host scolded us for also charging it to 85% , even though we needed to, so that we could make it to the other side of the island and back.
The host remotely messed with the car's charging settings while we were charging, after we had left the vehicle.
The host removed our access from the car nearly 30 minutes early, and before we had officially checked-out of the rental via Turo.
Wow none of this is accurate. Tesla has a limited number of drivers that can be added to the app not me. I think they did not know how to operate a Tesla and caused their own issues. My other reviews show this is a one off experience of someone who does not know how to operate a Tesla.

Easy pick up and drop off. The car is in excellent condition and the self driving was amazing! Don't fall for range anxiety as we explored a lot of the island and never dropped below 50% at the end of any day after charging up to 80%. So didn't spend more than 30% charge any time. We were in Kihei and had access to convenient charging overnight
No smoking allowed
