Fantastic Car and Hos. Thank you very much.

The car was great, this Tesla Model Y is awesome, and the host has FSD active so you can use it during your trip, which is very comfortable and convenient.
My only problem comes with the host, the reason I’m providing 5 stars is just because of the car, not the host.
I rented the car for a road trip, the host, in any of their messages mentioned that they did not allow that, which is completely allowed by Turo.
While charging the car, at 5:40am they texted asking me where I was heading and mentioned my current location. Because I didn’t answer back immediately they decided to remove my access to the vehicle, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road before sunrise. I reply her 17 min later letting her now my destination and she replies back says I have violated their terms because I took the car out of state,

Welcome message states my policy for out of state driving. Guest did not respond to my text for 15 min while he was at a safe Tesla Supercharger (not the side of the road) We had a VERY similar experience with a guest who tried to steal car. I cut driving access to get him to respond to my message. After he responded, privileges were restored. Guest could have prevented this by responding to a simple text question.
Very good car and host was responsive and made the check in and out really easy

Thank you, Ahmed. It was a pleasuer hosting you. We welcome you back any time. :) Connie
This Tesla is amazing. Brand new. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to rent it. Thank you!

The car itself drives fine. The experience with the host is another story. No physical key card was provided, only phone key access, which according to Turo's own hosting guidelines is a policy violation. Hosts are required to give guests a physical key so they can "use the car normally during their trip." Without a key card, valet parking is impossible, which I only discovered when I needed it on a rainy day at a mall. When I raised this concern, the host's response was to suggest I buy an umbrella at Publix. No accountability, no flexibility, no hospitality. Just condescension from someone who doesn't seem to understand the basics of what hosting means. I will be renting from a different host next time and strongly recommend others do the same.
Kelly •
It is unfortunate that Kelly was unhappy with our hospitality. She contacted me many times before and during the rental and I always responded politely. She did not read our posted information (car has FSD and was only available at our home-no delivery) Phone key was explained in message before pickup. (no complaint, or request to cancel) She requested another driver to have key without obtaining Turo auth. She returned car late at night and left the lights on to run the battery down overnight
