Worst experience I’ve ever had with Turo. Host lied about location pick up. Got to where it was supposed to be and waited and waited. She finally messaged me to tell me the car was in a different location that was 40 min away. Get to the car and 10 mins into the trip the air wasn’t working. Still over looked at this point. Had to get to my daughter graduation. Then two days later woke up to oil spills all over driveway at our Airbnb. Had to have the car towed back to owner. Never once has she apologized for any inconvenience. She’s now unresponsive to any requests now that I have a claim in on her to get back my money back from this trip. This was the worst experience I’ve had with Turo and will cause me to never use them again. If she had just apologized and worked with me on this, I wouldn’t even be writing this.
This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had in years on Turo. Turo is a serious platform and hosts cannot simply invent issues. This guest reported a mechanical problem that did not exist. The vehicle was professionally inspected immediately after return and no oil leak or mechanical issue was found. Unfortunately, the vehicle was also not returned as scheduled, creating a very difficult situation for us as hosts.
