I rented this vehicle for 6 days. The vehicle had mechanical issues the day I received it (check coolant level and smelled like coolant from the vents) and the owner wanted me to ignore the problems and said his mechanic probably overfilled the reservoir. As the days went on, more issues arose (DEF fluid low, replace battery key, and the vehicle started jerking-presafe conditions limited). As a result, I had to cancel my planned trip. I refilled the DEF fluid (after the owner asked me to and promised to reimburse me) for the car to last for a few days. I had to go through Turo to get reimbursed after several unsuccessful requests to the owner. Then the vehicle overheated and I had to stop driving it on the day before it ended. Otherwise, the worst experience I had with a Turo vehicle. The only plus I had about this vehicle is it was clean.

We are very sorry for what happened to you. However, it’s a 2014 car and it may have problems. It’s already been repaired, it’s in excellent condition, and the customer is very happy to be using it.
